Field of Application ATA Convention

Convention on "Exhibitions and Fairs"
Through an extension to the Macao Special Administrative Region of the application of the Customs conventions on Temporary admission t which the Government of the People's Republic China has acceded.

Other Applications : ATA Carnets are accepted for all samples imported for demonstration, testing, experimenting, copying, soliciting orders, etc.

ATA Carnets are accepted for any professional and cinematographic equipment required for use by the press, radio, film, television and other.

ATA Carnets are accepted for transit.

ATA Carnet are accepted for unaccompanied goods.

ATA Carnets are not accepted for postal traffic.

Replacement carnet : No

Languages in which Carnets should be completed : Chinese and English. The Customs may require a translation when the ATA Carnets are completed in any other language.

Customs Offices : All Customs offices and stations are authorized to accept ATA Carnets during the operation hours of these checkpoints of entry/exit:

Daily, 24 hours
- Zhuhai-Macao Cross-border Industrial Park Checkpoint
- Inner Harbour Checkpoint
- Outer Harbour Checkpoint
- Macao International Airport Checkpoint
- Coloane Ka-Ho Port Checkpoint
- Taipa Ferry Terminal Checkpoint

Daily, 7.00 a.m. – 12.00 p.m. (midnight): Barrier Gate Checkpoint
Daily, 8.00 a.m. – 8.00 p.m.: COTAI Checkpoint
