Other Applications : ATA Carnets are accepted for postal traffic

Replacement carnet : The guaranteeing organization of the issuing country should write to the Malaysian NGO in order to obtain the authorization of the Malaysian customs which is then transmitted to the guaranteeing organization of the issuing country via the Malaysian guaranteeing organization.

Languages in which Carnets should be completed : English and Malay languages. The Customs may require a translation when the ATA Carnets are completed in any other language.

Customs Offices : The following Customs offices are entitled to process ATA Carnets: ports, airports and frontier stations. Customs clearance of ATA Carnets is available 365 days, 24 hours for main ports and airports. But for clearance during odd hours, please check before entry as customs facilities may not be available.
