Field of Application ATA Convention

Istanbul Convention and its Annexes A, B1, B2 and B5
The use of ATA Carnets is accepted under national laws and regulations for any temporary admission operation with the exception of those bearing on goods intended for processing or repair or for transhipment.

Other Applications : ATA Carnets are accepted for postal traffic
ATA Carnets are not accepted for transit

Languages in which Carnets should be completed : English or French. The Customs may require a translation of the Carnets
are completed in any other languages.

Replacement carnet : Yes, in accordance with Article 14, Annex A of the Istanbul Convention

Customs Offices Port: Monday to Friday, 8.00 to 16.00 hours
Saturday, 8.00 to 13.00 hours
Closed on Sundays and Public holidays
Provision exists, however, for attendance of Customs officers for clearance
of all goods, including those covered by ATA Carnets outside hours
mentioned above on prior notice.
Airports: 24 hours a day
